Membership Categories

The Scientific Society for Health Informatics offers three categories of membership as follows:

1- Effective membership: with the following conditions: The applicant for membership must have an academic degree in health informatics or an equivalent discipline and have a valuable scientific or professional contribution in this field.

To pay the annual subscription fee of 200 riyals.

2- Partial membership: for university students in the field of health informatics and individuals who are interested in the scope of the association’s activities but are not eligible for active membership.

A partial member may attend the meetings of the general assembly and participate in the discussion without having the right to vote.

Partial member pays 50% of the total annual subscription fee.

3- Honorable membership: issued by a decision of the general assembly for anyone who serves the union or develops its activities.

The honorable member is exempted from paying the subscription and can attend the meetings of the general assembly and participate in the discussions.

Membership Termination:

1- Withdrawal or death of the member.

2- Failure to pay the annual subscription after one year has passed since the due date.

3- Loss of one of the conditions of membership

4- Committing any act or activity that results in material or moral damages to the association, and membership is not canceled in this case without the approval of the board of directors.

Membership back:

The Board of Directors may approve the return of the terminated membership at the request of the member after correcting the terms of termination.

2- Do not deposit the membership fee into the SAHI bank account before receiving a membership confirmation Message.
